Kaiden Will be a BIG Brother to.....

a BABY BROTHER!!! We couldn't be more thrilled! I even made myself nauseus this morning from all the butterflies that were floating around in there! Our lil boy is looking very good! Has all his parts and is very active! By his measurements, he is 1 day ahead of his due date, April 26th! (We are 18 weeks today) Our Dr was pretty funny today too, they recently got a new ultrasound machine 2 days ago so he was having fun playing with it and taking LOTS of 4D pictures for us! Which are soooo awesome! Kaiden only got a few 3D pictures in the third trimester! Well this baby still kinda looks like Skeletor in the pictures, but it was nice to get to know him a little better. We even got a fun 15 minute DVD, Kaidens was only 10 minutes or so. But on this DVD half of it is in 2D and the rest is in 4D which is way awesome! If I can learn how to upload it I will, becuase it is so cool!
Here are a few of the pictures that were taken. Sorry for the blurriness but they are pictures of pictures of ultrasounds. Even if they are 4D they are still a bit blurry! lol

It's a BOY!!! Leg, boy parts, other leg!

These are the 4D pictures! If you were to divide these pictures into quarters, the top left is where the head is! In this one his arm is by his face! =)
This one both his hands are in the air! lol By how much he was moving we can only assume he's having a lil dance party!!

Kaiden and His New Toy!

Yesterday Kaiden got his Christmas present from his Grandpa and Grandma Romriell! Yes we opened it! We won't be able to pack it with us to my folks house in Jersey so why wait? Plus he saw the box and got really REALLY excited. How could we say no?
He was soo nterested when we were opening it for him. At first he thought it was a comfy new chair just for him! But then he got the hang of it! ;)

Bum Bum Bummmmm.....

Well, after not breaking a single tooth since 10 months, our son is starting to teeth again! Oh Joy! haha. He has his 2 bottom middles and the teeth that are breaking through are the ones to each side of the 2 middles.Poor kid. I guess he'll just get even more love and attention now!
Other than the whole teething ordeal, Darren and I have begun Holiday shopping! Another joy! lol. We are also very excited about next week, one because of Thanksgiving, and 2 because in 8 days we found out the gender of Romriell Baby #2! Which we're hoping is a lil brother for Kaiden! =) But of course we would love a little sister for him too! Whoever this baby is, they have been kicking me vigorously for the past 3 weeks! lol. Darren can't feel them yet.... Hopefully by 19 weeks he will though, thats when he was able to feel Kaiden. Just 2 more weeks until he gets to experience the magic!
To keep myself busy, I've been working on a quiet book for Kaiden. Oh its sooo much fun and I am definitely addicted to it. I have about 3 pages completed and alot more to go. Some of the pages Kaiden will have to grow into but I'm really enjoying making a project for him. Once it's done I'll post pictures!
Darren is excited to get through Wednesday since after that is the beginning of his Thanksgiving break! He works sooo hard at school he DESERVES a break! ANd Kaiden and I will be happy to have him with us 24/7 of that week!
Well, now ya'll are caught up to date!
TTFN!

2010 Halloween Dinner

Since Brooke took so many fantastic pictures, I decided to make a specific post dedicated to last nights annual Halloween Dinner Spooktacular! Here we go!
The Menu:

The Beverage: Witches Brew

The Appetizer: Dragon Scales (Artichoke Leaves)

Whilst Eating the Dragon Scales, served best with mayo!!

First Course: Fresh & Crunchy Witches Skin (Salad)

Witches Skin, served best with Blod Clots (tomatoes), Owl Toenails (sunflower seeds), Grated Pumpkin (shredded cheese), Stale & Moldy Bread Crumbs (croutons)........

And don't forget the Rotten Eggs! (Darren had already taken the blue one)

The Main Course: Bloody Baked Rats

Bloody Baked Rats best served with sides of Mashed Boo-tatoes and Dead Man's Pinkies!
And the Grand Finale aka Dessert: The Phantom of the Night! (Baked Alaska, an ice cream cake covered in meringue)

It was a really fun evening, but I must admit I had never made meatloaf (what the rats were made of) before by myself. Im not a big fan of meatloaf but I knew Darren was and the night was more aimed at the men folk. Anyways Darren RAVED About them! He thought they were sooo good! haha. I guess I should make meatloaf for him more often! The dessert was really good too! Darrena nd I had never had a Baked Alaska before. I guess you can make it with a brownie bottom or a cake bottom and choose any kind of ice cream for the top layer. Then you cover it with merignue. It was really delicious! My favorite, as it was last year, was still the Witches Brew! Yummm. Its amazing what a little lime sherbert, frozen limeade and a bottle of ginger ale can become! All in all, I think we all had a great night! I will definitely be carrying on this tradition for awhile! =)
Well, TTFN!
